Frist time away from home.
Journeying away from one's home town its just like moving out of comfort zone to an unfamilar places. People venturing out looking for new possible opportunities in life. Therefore, I would like to write about my first time away from home.
Once, I was with my caning to grannise back at home. I never missed a single day without accompanying them whenever they go and they too will have a missing feeling in my absence. I was just four years old, not be even ready for schooling. so, I stayed with my grandparents for long enough and got attachment.
Two years later, I was asked to come to Thimphu by my mother who then works in national referral for class 'PP' admission in one of the schools. Soon I heard about it I refused the call of my mother not knowing the importance of education. However, its was my grandparents who had better understanding the value of education and i was escorted to Thimphu the next day.
That was one of the days I felt everything from the sky had fallen upon my head, which was so miserable because I had to part from a place, where I spent too much time enjoying with them.
Upon reaching Thimphu it was very nosy and busy place and I had tough time to get used to staying in such as crowded city. It took almost a month to get myself adjusted to a new environment.
My Winter Vacation
"Snowflakes are kisses from heaven" During my winter vacation we get to watch and play snows and spend quality time with our family and friends. From winter I got to experience many wonderful events such as playing in the snow, drinking hot chocolate and spending time with family around campfire.
To begin with, after completion of my annual examination, I left so relaxed and took rest for more than a month. I though of going on trip with my friends to mountain. It was my dreams come true because I had an opportunity to play snow with my friends and family. It was very amazing, as playing snow was my favourite and I played a lot. Playing snow with friend and families is an amazing time.
After that, my best friend Kencho Wangmo invited me for her birthday celebration at one of the hotels. I went to the hotel to celebrate the her birthday, when I reached there. There were many people gathered, I felt nervous and shy. Suddenly, my friend came to escort me into the han and she asked me about what I want to have so i ordered hot chocolate, it was so yummy and i really enjoyed it. It was worth being a part of my friend's birthday celebration, which I enjoyed having a hot chocolate.
Finally, we made a campfire we were carrying dry sticks from the near by woods. when it was about to become dark my father lighted the fire. My mother and I got some chairs to sit on. My father sang a song, and my friend told us stories. After all that it was getting late and we put out the fire and went to bed. My friend Kencho was also staying for a sleep over. It was so fun spending time with family and friends which I mostly enjoyed in my life.
I like my winter vacation but I liked other things more than that. I hoped you all have one most favourite thing than that you are having so think about it and start your journey through time.
